Even as conversations about mental health become more open, stigma still keeps many people from getting the support they need.
It's common to feel stuck, lost, or weighed down by the past or the future, unable to be present. Unlike a physical injury, reaching out for help with our mental health can feel harder to do.
You are not alone, and we are here to support you.
At Two Trees, our goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and safe exploring difficult emotions like shame, anxiety, anger, or grief, and working through complex experiences like betrayal or trauma.
Registered Psychotherapist
Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 (CCTP-II)
With over a decade of experience in human services, I have worked with children, youth, adults, and families, striving to create a positive and non-judgmental space. Together, we can collaboratively develop a plan to support you in overcoming challenges and moving forward to live the life you desire. I believe that mental health treatment should be person-centered, as it is not a 'one size fits all' approach. This is why I use an integrative framework that incorporates various modalities of practice, including EMDR, to tailor our work to meet your specific needs.
I am honored to have many men, first responders, and 2SLGBTQ+ individuals seeking support to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. While a significant portion of my clients identify as such, I welcome any individual who feels we are a good fit and believes I have the skills necessary to support them in achieving their preferred outcomes from therapy, including effective PTSD treatment.

The story behind "Two Trees Psychotherapy" began with a client who came to therapy for the first time. This person was determined to break the cycle of generational trauma and unresolved mental health issues within their family lineage. Their goal was to improve themselves to be the best version of themselves for their partner and future children. Despite our differences in life experiences, personalities, and careers, we formed a strong therapeutic alliance that allowed us to work together toward their aspirations. Our collaboration provided a safe and supportive space for the client to work towards embodying their ideals.
No two trees are identical. They each have unique beginnings, experiences, challenges, and strengths that they bring to their ecosystem. Through this diversity and connectedness, they are better able to face adversity, heal and grow individually, and together. Similarly, this principle greatly impacts the way we connect with others, including the unique bond that forms between therapist and client.
By mirroring the natural world's wisdom, we can embrace the strength found in diverse individuality. We understand that each person's journey is unique, and we strive to help our clients grow and heal in a way that is tailored to their individual needs. Just as each tree in a forest contributes to a richer, more resilient ecosystem, we believe in nurturing the individual growth of our clients by creating an environment where everyone feels supported and empowered to move toward the person they want to be and the life they want to live.
